Learn how to create a JoinXR account.
This guide assumes that your account has been added to an organization. If it has not, most of the functionality in these documents will be locked, and you will not be able to proceed very far with this tutorial. If this is the case, please do one of the following.
- Ask your company's JoinXR account owner to add your account to your company's existing organization
- Create a new organization using the JoinXR 30 day free trial or get in touch to register. The 30 day free trial can be found at join.fracturereality.io
1. Go to join.fracturereality.io
2. Click Register
3. You now have two options:
- Create a new account. Just enter an email address and a new password
- Continue with a Microsoft account. Recommended if your company uses Office 365
To proceed, you will be asked to agree to the JoinXR license agreement.
4. Create your profile by doing the following:
- Enter your name and company
- Choose the closest region to you. This ensures you have the best experience when using remote rendering
- Choose your primary language (other users' speech will be translated in real time in to captions in this language)
- Select your avatar style. We recommend generating a custom avatar using a photo to make you easily identifiable whilst using JoinXR
5. Now create your custom avatar. It's really simple, just upload a selfie and it will do the rest.
Congratulations. You now have a JoinXR account.
